How can I give?

Several safe and secure methods of giving provide convenient ways to offer our tithes and financially contribute to Calvary Chapel of Delaware County.

Why We Give

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

  • Why Give?

We know there are still needs across the country in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we're teaming up with Convoy of Hope and their "Beyond 10 Million Meals Project" to provide food and critical supplies to at-risk families within their communities!

Convoy of Hope has already gone beyond their original goal of providing 10 million meals, but the need is still great. We plan to partner in continuing to help as many people as we can for as long as we can.

  • Convoy of Hope has already distributed more than 10 million meals to hardest-hit areas across the United States.
  • Dozens of new requests arrive daily. Hundreds of churches across dozens of states have requested assistance from Convoy of Hope.
  • On average, each truckload carries 30,000 pounds of supplies — 36,000 meals and other items, such as diapers and cleaning supplies — and costs $34,000.
Where do my donations to Calvary Chapel go?

General Operating Fund: Donations to ccdelco support its General Operating Fund. This fund makes possible the day-to-day ministries and services of the church.

Special Funds: Periodically, opportunities become available to designate a donation to a specific ministry initiative with specific start and end dates. To designate your contribution to a specific fund, simply indicate the name of the initiative on the memo line of your check or on your envelope.

Will I receive a statement of contribution?

Yes, you will receive an annual statement of contribution for all donations for which you provided your name and address (cash contributions may be placed in an envelope with your name and address). All donations made to Calvary Chapel of Delaware County are held in the strictest confidence.

Statements of contributions are mailed in January (for the prior calendar year). You may also download the instructions to access them at any time here.

If you have moved recently, please notify us of your new address so we may send your statement of contribution to the correct address.

How does Calvary Chapel uphold financial accountability?

"We want to avoid any criticism of the way we administer this liberal gift.  For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man." - 2 Corinthians 8:20-21 (NIV)

We are committed to honoring God's provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability to ensure the financial integrity of Calvary Chapel remains above reproach. We accomplish this through a system of internal controls and an internal budgeting and reporting process, including an annual audit performed by an independent certified public accounting firm. Contact Pastor Bob Banks or call (610) 459-8111 to ask general questions about our financial practices.

When you become a fully devoted follower of Jesus, you will be marked by generosity. As followers of Christ, it is our call to give faithfully and sacrificially. We begin by tithing, which means giving 10% of our income.

We are also called to go beyond that 10%, to expand what God is doing locally and globally through offerings. At times through the year, we designate a time for our congregants to give to other causes. Here at ccdelco, we support 16 various ministry partners to ripple their effect for the Gospel.

When you give to Calvary, you are supporting so many others. We thank you for your faithfulness to God and pray God's blessing to you.
